Name
smah — it does the thing

Synopsis
smah [--thing] [-n] [-q] [-h] [--] [TARGET]
Description
smah is a small professional CLI. One binary. One job. It does the thing. There is no subcommand maze, no plugin host, no telemetry handshake before work begins.
Invoke it. The thing happens. Status on stderr only if you asked. This page is the documentation, the marketing, and the license comment.
Options
- -h, --help
- Print this man page to standard output and exit. The thing is not done.
- -n, --dry-run
- Describe the thing. Do not do it. Useful when you only wanted to know.
- --thing
- Do the thing. This is the default, the point, and the entire product.
- --quiet
- Do the thing without announcing it. Exit status still reports the truth.

Exit status
0The thing was done.1The thing was not done.64Usage error (sysexits). You asked for a different thing.
Examples
$ smah did the thing.
$ smah --dry-run would do the thing. $ echo $? 0
$ smah --quiet && echo ok ok
Bugs
It does the thing even when you meant a different thing. That is not a bug; that is the specification. Do not file tickets. There is no waitlist. There is no backend. There is only the thing.
